St. Joseph Catholic School
While our school does not field its own athletic teams, our students still have many meaningful opportunities to participate in sports and stay active. Students are eligible to join athletic teams, camps, and middle school sports programs within the public school district in which they reside. This allows them to experience competitive athletics, build teamwork skills, and represent their local community, all while continuing their education in our faith-based environment.
In addition to district-based opportunities, students are also encouraged to participate in sports through Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Athletics. This parish-based league within the Diocese of Toledo provides a wonderful avenue for students to engage in organized sports alongside peers who share similar values and faith traditions. CYO programs emphasize not only athletic development, but also sportsmanship, character formation, and community building.
Together, these options ensure that our students have access to a well-rounded athletic experience. Whether competing through their local school district or participating in CYO programs, students are able to stay active, develop their skills, and enjoy the many benefits that come with being part of a team.
